MISSION STATEMENT

                The Dakshina Kannada District Police will ensure the protection of rights of every individual under the constitution of India and will thereby uphold the rule of law impartially and firmly without fear or favor. We shall strive to our fullest capacity to prevent and detect crime and to maintain law and order as laid down by the law of the land. We shall take special measures to protect all those sections of society who are not able to protect themselves. It shall be the bounden duty of every police man and officer to work with impeccable character and integrity and provide corruption free services. We shall all strive to make Dakshina Kannada District a safe place to live.

MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE

        It would be my endeavor to give to the people of Dakshina Kannada, an efficient and strong Police force that will serve them impartially and uphold the law under all circumstances. I would specially strive towards improving Police accessibility to the people and transparency in administration. We will continue to innovate and upgrade our knowledge to keep ourselves abreast with the latest technological advancements and ensure that the Police perform their duties in a professional and scientific manner. Emphasis will also be given to make Police more people friendly. In view of the prevailing situation in the District, we would also take up all possible measures to maintain communal harmony.
